Best Time for Family Photography? The magic of family photography often lies in the natural light and our beautiful coastal backdrops, or even in your back garden. While I can accommodate various times, as most of my shoots are outdoors on the beach, we need to take into consideration tide times and sun positions. Many families prefer the golden hour—the hour just after sunrise or before sunset—for that soft, warm glow. However, I am flexible and can tailor the shoot to your family's schedule and preferences. You could also come to my studio on Park View in Whitley Bay for a fun creative BOX SHOT if you would rather be indoors, and these sessions can be booked for early evenings after school hours.
